Canadia

It’s been an intense week.

We split into small groups (think cabins at a summer camp and you’ll have an all right idea). My group had decided that we were The Family by the end of the first day, so we’ve been getting really close and bonded and stuff.

Today we had to say goodbye. I don’t cry easily. It takes a lot to make my voice crack.

I cried today. And I don’t think I’m done crying yet.

For the last several years, I’ve been constantly questioning whether I’m an all right leader. This week I found out that it’s okay. When I let myself relax and be open with my group, I can be that leader. I can be loving and loved and comfortable and caring. I hope that what I’ve found won’t go away. I hope I don’t forget this when I get stressed out at SLC. I can be that leader.

Thanks, Ginger Family.
